Fresh kicks

Supra nails the neutral look with this all new Hemingway colorway. The sneaker features a tan canvas and nubuck upper for a subtle textural effect that’s easy to miss but hard to forget. Brass eyelets and a plaid liner round out this design nicely and make for one great overall design. These Supra Cuttler‘s are available now at the Supra site.

The Reebok Insta Pump Fury is the subject of this special release that comes courtesy of Beauty & Youth. The drop utilizes leopard print along its upper in either black / purple or white / multi while white contrast colored stitches and black paneling makes up the rest of the design. While they haven’t been spotted stateside they are available now at select Reebok retailers in Japan like mita.

Vans gives us suede in a whole new way with their latest offering of Authentic's. These latest looks for the ladies have an upper that shimmers and shines in either black or gold thanks to a bit of metallic paint and the resulting look is girly and glitzy. The sneakers will add oomph to any wardrobe and is available now at select retailers including David Z.

For the fall season, Puma has given the classic Puma Suede a worn look to give it that old school feel. The shoe’s upper features a dusty, dark denim blue, shaggy suede design. Adding some depth to the look is the use of white on the side logo and inner lining.

All the while, the rubber sole, which was originally white, features a dirty and worn look. Look for the shoe now at Puma accounts including UK-based End.

The Puma Disc Blaze LTWT looks futuristic enough as is however this pair takes things a step beyond with one detail. For these latest colorways an exoskeleton is applied to the silhouette for a fresh take on the concept runner. With two colorways ready to fly out of the gate there is no word when they will release however when they do numelo will have them in stock among other Puma retailers.

Surfacing now are images of the Puma Suede Mid “Washed Canvas” Collection. Included are three versions of the high-top version of the classic Puma Suede. All three feature faded designs along with tonal leather touches along the lacing eyelets and [padded] ankle collars. Meanwhile, white shoe laces applied, with black PUMA branding on the quarter panels. Coming in a choice of hibiscus, green, or blue, the pack will be available at select Puma retailers in Spring 2013.

The “ParaNorman” Foamposite hit the sneaker world by storm, causing sneakerheads the world over to show why #weirdwins. Now that the contest is over, individual pairs are starting to show up for the winners and a pair happened to grace our doors today. Seen here in detail, the “ParaNorman” Foams feature a black upper highlighted with green smoke, a color that is mirrored on the Nike Swoosh, tongue and heel branding, as well as the out-sole. The Nike Air Foamposite Pro originally released in 1997, and although this is not the original colorway of this shoe (you have to go further into the post for that), it is still considered one of, if not the best Foamposite Pro colorway to date. The multiple volt accents that overlay the black base give this shoe a fresh, contrasting color scheme.

When a new Nike Zoom Kobe model arrives it’s guaranteed to come with a least a few yellow pairs here and there, with the rest of the range pretty much up in the air. Nailing things down a little bit is this latest pair of the Nike Zoom Kobe VIII, sporting a black and red pairing in that same sort of tessellated geometric look, a pattern vaguely reminiscent of the recent Air Jordan 2012 lite remixes.

The Air Jordan 9 has seen quite a bit of love this year, especially with the launch of the Johnny Kilroy pack. Made up of thought to be alter-egos of Michael Jordan, the latest detailed look comes courtesy of Calvin Bailey. For his version of the Air Jordan 9 , Calvin gets a deep royal upper with university gold use over the liner, lace stays, and out-sole. Finer details include white stitching throughout the upper and the word “Gary” stitched into the tongue. The Air Jordan 9 “Calvin Bailey” is set to release on November 10 for $160.
